Cow Ghee contains A1 beta-casein protein and A2 beta-casein protein of which A2 protein is much healthier than A1. Milk of indigenous Desi Cow breeds like Kangayum, Gir has more A2 protein. VIPURA A2 Desi Cow Ghee comes from Kangayum breed of cows from Uthukuli (Tamil Nadu). A distinctive feature of A2 cow ghee is that it is grainy in texture and made by heating butter on a low flame for long duration.
